KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marine geotechnical investigations and offshore/nearshore site characterization campaigns. 

  • Direct offshore data acquisition, overseeing Cone Penetration Testing (CPT), borehole drilling programs, and specialized marine laboratory testing. 

  • Synthesize and interpret complex geotechnical datasets, translating raw subsurface data into accurate engineering geological models. 

  • Execute advanced geotechnical design and analysis for shallow and deep foundations, piled structures, anchor systems, and retaining walls. 

  • Perform numerical modelling for soil-structure interaction, deformation analysis, and slope stability evaluations. 

  • Author detailed geotechnical design reports, interpretive reports, and technical risk assessments for international clients. 

  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams across coastal, structural, and marine engineering disciplines. 

Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Education: Master’s or PhD’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering. 

  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive, relevant professional experience within the geotechnical engineering sector. 

  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrated, hands-on background and specialization in marine geotechnical engineering, offshore site investigations, and marine subsurface assessments. 


TECHNICAL & SOFTWARE SKILLS 

  • Marine Geotechnics & Offshore Site Investigation 

  • Foundation Engineering (Shallow and Deep Foundations) 

  • Geotechnical Design & Soil-Structure Interaction 

  • Software: PLAXIS 2D/3D, GeoStudio, AutoCAD, Python.
