Licensed Captain with 33 years’ experience in the marine industry, including 17 years’ international experience as a OSV Captain in Trinidad, Brazil, Mexico and West Africa.  Possess current passport and Vanuatu Officer Endorsement.  Certified Dynamic Positioning Officer.

Highly skilled in training & directing foreign nationals; usually served as the sole American Captain of an OSV manned by foreigners.  Proficient in marine terminology and operations including navigation, plotting, and charting.


Very mechanically inclined—saved service companies thousands of dollars by doing own repair work.  Equally adept at troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems.
