Instrumentation Technician/Electronic Technician


I want to take the opportunity to understand the Oil Exploration and Production by working on the onshore/offshore Oil Rigs willing to travel and relocate with a determination to work hard and to grow with the company for the betterment of it through continuous improvement in my quality of work and also with my excellent conduct. It is my Objective to utilize all of my strong engineering, analytical and interpersonal skills along with my exceptional common sense to improve services, reduce costs and lead times by all the while engaging in new challenges and learning new experiences.



August 2009 to March 2010 Mumbai National Network Operational Centre (NNOC)


• Performing Activities on Troubleshooting and Replacing Cisco10K Router’s Sonnet Card’s, PRE Engine, IOS Upgradation, Gig Port Cards, Preventive Maintenance Activities.

• Performing Activities on MLS (4948) and Switches (4503 & 3400) and rectifying the faults found in the Gig Ports by configuring and replacing the port connector, Ethernet and required parameters.

• Carrying out the Audit work on Routers and Switches, Raising Planned Events and Rectifying the Faults. Analysis and Fault management of RF issues, MW Transmission & optical transmission.

• Solving TAC issues like Multilink Group and Serial (E1’s) replacement, Re-homing of sites from one MSC to another, Router Software, Traffic flow, Debugging and Recovery of C10K and Configuration of Multilink Groups, Serials (E1’s), Sonnet card, PRE card.

August 2008 to December 2008

Junior Engineer

• Rectifying the network related faults of Reliance CDMA network all over India by raising Trouble Tickets. Coordinate with Transport and Microwave Transmission Team to ensure end to end connectivity of media using Loop-Break and BER test.

• Taking corrective actions according to the different performance parameters such as Percentage RF failure, Blocking rate, Percentage Drop rate, call setup success rate.

• Providing Technical support and guidance to Circle Engineers and Field Personnel as per the requirements by Deleting and Re-creating the E1’s (Serials) and Multilink groups (MLG) Configuration.

• Analysis and Fault Management of Network related issues of BTS, BSC elements that include faults related to call routing, version upgrades and access network faults.
