The areas of marine and environmental safety in general are of great interest to me; this is why I choose to take a degree in marine studies. Hence, I am applying for the vacancies to enable me utilize and develop further all my skills. I obtained a second-class upper division in Maritime Management Technology and am a confident user of computer systems. I undertook different work experiences in some organization under the auspice of Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). I am looking for a firm where I can become an intangible asset and affect the corporate profitability by the provision of cutting edge services and products.

I am applying for this, because I believe this would be a great opportunity to put together my creative and analytical skills with my growing interest in marine affairs. I think I am a notable candidate for this position because of my education (B.Tech in Maritime Management Technology) and proven leadership skills and customer relationship/service skills. The field of marine is of major interest to me, my relevant degree and growing interest in marine issues could in no small measure make me a perfect candidate for the position and to a large extent enable me perform all set task effectively.

I unequivocally believe that it is one’s personal qualities; such as individual undiluted passion and drive that leads one to truly distinguish oneself. My ambition, determination and quest for professionalism and success are what I believe to be my greatest contributions. This attitude has led me to be enthusiastic over all life aspects, through my academics or in approach to building a prospective career.

Therefore, my overwhelming zeal for career opportunities embedded with great challenges and responsibility makes me enjoy working with deadlines. Giving quality attention to details is a good trait of mine, but the big picture in view is just as natural.

I hope that on consideration of my CV, you will be persuaded of my ability to perform well and make useful contributions to your company, and its clients as an employee. Am so aware that it may not be quite easy to give a vivid picture of me as a possible employee by mere going through my CV amidst the many options you have. Nevertheless, I would very much appreciate an opportunity to be tested/interviewed. I am willing to relocate and available for an interview at any time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully
