Objective
I wish to serve on vessels bound for international ports out of Houston/Galveston.
Experience
Most recently I have worked as a writing consultant at a university. Two years ago I was working as a lab tech asst. for schlumberger with a very wide ranging set of responsiblities. Less recently I have worked as a life guard have been certified as such by the red cross.
Education
I have just graduated from the University of Houston Downtown with a BA in English and a minor in Theatre.

Beyond a certainly outdated redcross lifeguard vertification?
Skils
I am a very quick learner and very hard worker. I also have quick sound judgement in practical situations. I have special aptitude on boats and in the water, which I have been around my whole life. I have also demostrated the ability to lead groups of people. Currently I am finishing up a movie which I cast, produced, directed, and am editing myself. I was in charge of a cast and crew of over thirty people and raised and managed a budget of over thirty thousand. I know this is a far cry from maritime shipping but it does exhibit drive, tenacity, and leadership.
