Martin Marine (Martin Midstream Partners) where I worked relief Captain and Trip Pilot on their ATB's(2006 – 2008) carrying petroleum products around the Gulf Of Mexico.
I worked in the Gulf of Mexico as Captain aboard Large platform/supply boats (DP II Class) with Hornbeck Offshore.
I have lots of experience with shipyard overhauls, conversions, USCG Certification/re-certification as well as other Maritime Regulatory Bodies.
Shore Side Experience:
During my tenure with the Military Sealift Command I had the opportunity to work in Operations Department as an Out Portman husbanding contract vessels, inspecting tugs and tows along with other duties of the Out Portman such as ensuring all manifests and other shipping documents are onboard and in order prior to sailing. I also received an assignment to the Training and Safety Department to conduct the training of Damage Control and Vessel Safety for the vessels crews.
My collateral duties as Master/ChM ate includes, but were not limited to budget and payroll management, material manager, safety and training officer, security officer, weapons officer, Medical provider, Drug testing administrator, cargo officer, and the management of ship’s crew.
My computer skills are very solid, and I'm well rounded in day-to-day shipboard operations. Bottom Line, I can finish the job.
Education & Training:
High School in MOBILE AL, MARINE OFFICERS TRAINING SCHOOL in Hoboken New Jersey, Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC, Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies in Maryland, and a wide variety of Navy schools covering subjects from Small Arms to Nuclear weapons transportation, safety, and security. Also a trained Emergency Medical Technician (Certificate of National Registry of EMTs expired).Attended Dynamic Position Officer Introduction and Advance Dynamic Position Officer School, I also have some DPO practical experience.
