Job Title: QHSE Executive

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Industry: Offshore & Dry Bulk Shipping

Experience: Minimum 6 months (Maritime/Shipping industry mandatory)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Executive to join our shore-based team in Thane. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the shipping/maritime industry and a strong understanding of maritime safety and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation and maintenance of QHSE policies and Safety Management System (SMS)
• Assist in ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO compliance activities
• Coordinate vessel audits, inspections, drills, and documentation
• Maintain QHSE records, reports, manuals, and compliance documentation
• Prepare MIS reports and track safety performance indicators
• Support risk assessments, safety meetings, and toolbox talks
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations including SOLAS and MARPOL
• Coordinate with vessel crew and internal departments for smooth QHSE operations

Requirements:

• Graduate / Diploma in Marine, Nautical Science, Shipping, or related field
• Minimum 6 months of QHSE experience in shipping/maritime industry (mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC 2006, SOLAS, and MARPOL regulations
• QHSE certifications or audit exposure will be an added advantage
• Good documentation, MIS reporting, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
