Job Title: Launch Boat Captain
Location: Sabine/Neches Channel
Job Type: Full-Time, Rotational
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Launch Boat Captain to transport passengers between ships at the refinery docks to our dock. This is a rotational role, working two weeks on and one week off in an on-call capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers to and from vessels.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the boat and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers.
- Keep accurate logs of trips.
Qualifications:
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License.
- Proven experience as a boat captain.
- Knowledge of local waterways, weather patterns, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule (2 weeks on, 1 week off).
