- Structural fabricating and sheet metal work. Mild steel and hard plate.

- Maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.

- Work off blueprints and custom fitting.

- SMAW, FCAW and GMAW. In the shop and on site.

- Arcair gouging, oxy-acetylene cutting. Heat treating and hard surfacing.



WELDER/FITTER LAND & SEA WELDING

Apprentice Carbonear, NF 2005



- Prep work for welders. Grinding, tack welding, and beveling plate.

- Structural fabricating. Cut, fit and weld from blueprints.

- Used forklift, overhead crane and all shop equipment.

- Heat straighten I-beams and plate.

- Weld with SMAW, FCAW and GMAW.

- Worked on small items and large chimney liners for NL Hydro.

- Spray painting parts after completion.



DRYWALL INSTALLER/FRAMER LOCAL 675

- Steel stud framing and wood framing.

-T-bar ceilings.

- Installation of all types of drywall, interior and exterior.
