Third Officer's position aboard a vessel that utilizes my license and marine transportation experience, while furthering my knowledge in navigation and ultimately upgrading my license.


M/V Washington Express, Third Mate (Crowley and Hapag Loyd Vessel) November 2012-January 2013. Licensed deck officer standing 00-04 and 12-16 watches as well as meal relief daily.

Responsible for safety equipment and procedures, safety inspections and drills.

Stood Bridge watch as Cadet Watch Officer under general supervision from licensed deck officer. Lead group of freshmen through fundamental shipboard operations and maintenance. Assisted as student aid to Celestial Instructor and adviser to Senior Deck Cadets.
