29 years in Merchant Navy with over 10 years in command
on Tankers and with sailing experience on General Cargo,
Containers, Bulk carriers, Wood chip carrier,Oil
Tankers ( Crude, products and chemicals)
Managed operations and profit centre of leading
shipping companies in India for 5 years .
Worked as a marine consultant and visiting faculty with
a Maritime training Institution in Delhi
Have presented several power point presentations
including “Risk assessment” and contributed towards
enhancement of a safety culture and environment on board
all my ships.

Completed High school in year 1976
Graduated in year 1978 and joined merchant navy in year 1978.
"Trained for sea" at Training ship "Rajendra" from 1978 to 1979.
Sea going training completed on ships owned by “Shipping Corporation of India Ltd.”
Completed Second Mates(Unrestricted) in 1982
Completed Class2 / First Mates(Unrestricted) in 1984
Completed Class1 / Master(Unrestricted) in 1988
Certification
All STCW 95 certificates and License as Master ( Class 1) are valid.
