assumes the responsibility of all the activities of power plant operations which includes operation, repair and maintenance of power plant equipment, transmission lines, substations, power rooms and other related facilities and to deliver it in a professional manner, prompt, cost effective and safe. ensure continuous and reliable electrical power supply to be provided for the whole IRRI community.
Experience
1. oversees all the activities of power plant operation by planning, scheduling, assigning, implementing and monitoring the activities of staggered duty electrician to ensure power stability, reliability, cost effectiveness and maximize manpower efficiency.
2. prepares and implement plans and schedule for preventive and corrective measures on power plant, substations, high tension lines, switch gear, pump stations, power rooms and other related facilities by conducting routine inspection, cleaning and upgrading to ensure safety to properties and to prevent unexpected electrical failure or inconveniences to end users
3. installation, testing, operation, maintenance, service and repair of low/medium/high voltage electrical line, generators, transformer, substation, fuse cut-out and air break switch including erection of electrical posts and splicing of high voltage cable.
4. installation, testing, operation, maintenance, service and repair of low/medium/high voltage electrical line, generators, transformer, substation, fuse cut-out and air break switch including erection of electrical posts and splicing of high voltage cable.
5. installation and repair of all kinds of electro-mechanical and electronic control.
