Job profile
? Preparation of inspection test plan.
? Familiarize with Approved Drawing ,Governing Standards and Specification.
? Conducting welders Qualification Tests.
? Witnessing and monitoring of welder qualification & mechanical testing
? Structural and piping inspection for dimension, fit up and welds.
? Inspection of welding consumables.
? Surveillance inspection for distortion control during welding
? Carrying out weld audit for welding parameters such as preheat, interpass temperatures, travel speed, qualification of welders, welding machines etc.
? Coordinating and supervising quality inspectors and NDT team
? Supervising the weld repair activities.
? Witnessing of pneumatic and hydro test .
? Liaison with class surveyors, client and subcontractors.
? Preparation of inspection reports for material ,fit up, visual, hydro, pneumatic test.
? Preparation of final documentation.
? Providing training and guidance to junior Qc inspectors.
? Carrying out Quality Management System internal audits, for checking the effectiveness of system procedures (Audits carried out-customer satisfaction , Training modules)
