Port Engineer

I love to fix machinery. After 30 years of doing this while sailing on board I am firmly planted in Seattle. If I can help with related work, or managing the maintenence and machinery history while mainly staying in Seattle I am ready to put in another 10 years.

Farm machinery operation and maintenence, Maritime Academy, 30 years at sea, last 10 as Chief Engineer on motor container vessel

Associates degree from Great Lakes Maritime Academy, graduated top of engineering class, various continuing education courses/ seminars/ training courses

I consider myself a decent welder, can run a lathe on an intermediate level, have 30 years of operation and maintenence of steam and diesel equipment to 70,000 hp. I have computer skills and communicate well. I am personable. I have used a few machinery history software products, most recently ABS NS5.
