Job Role:
? Handling Unit fabrication &Welding activities,
? Handling sub contractors.
? Material Data verification prior to Fabrication
? Coordination with design department discrepancies related issues.
? Preparation of purchase requisitions for material Required.
? Coordination with Material planning Department
? Preparation of CAD drawings for production.
? Controlling CNC Elements
? Monitoring Pre- Fabrication of preliminary and secondary members of ship structure and weld visual inspection.
? Sub – Assembly& Unit Fabrication
? Coordinating With QA/QC to maintain WPS,PQR , WQR and Dry surveys and Tests.
? Erection with fit up inspection and weld edge preparation for butt joints of units.
? Compartment/Tank Dry survey.
? Hull Consolidation and various Tests(Air pressure ,Structural and Hose Tests) and Surveys.
? Conducting Non destructive testing like Radiography, Dye penetration, Ultra sonic and Magnetic particle test as per NDT plan.
? Supervising typical activities in ships like Main engine bed alignment, Thruster supporting structure alignment& fitup .Stern tube alignment ,Anchor pocket &Hawse pipe fitment, Rudder horn and ice knife alignment jobs etc .in ship.
? Liaising with Resident Owner’s Representatives and classification society.
? Coordinating with piping, electrical and machinery departments for activity scheduling and detailed production planning.
? Responsible for Keel Sighting, Draft Mark survey and Dimensional & Load Line surveys.
? Preparing DPR;
? Production skills at the time of construction stage for quality development..
? Maintaining Material Traceability
? BOM, Purchase orders & Service entry sheet in SAP.
? Coordination between Design & Production.
? Preparing Lines plan &Hydro statics.
? Scantling calculations as per Class rules (IRS, ABS, LRS & NKK).
? Preparation of of as Fitted Drawings By using Auto CAD, Block drawings for Shop Floor construction.
? Handling material estimation as per drawings.
? Pre launching calculations and arrangements as per Calculations
? Conducting Inclining experiment calculations.
? Conducting Basin trials and Sea trials.
