PROJECTS ACCOMPLISHED DURING PROFESSIONAL CARRIER:
INTELLIGENT PROCESSING MODULE:
Designed and developed a processing unit comprising of a DSP processor TMS320C3x and micro controllers 80C196 that has a capability of 50 analog I/O’s, 30 digital I/O’s, 10 serial channels and 20 PWM I/O channels.
Designed, developed, debugged and qualified the software written in C language that is embedded in the DSP processor TMS320C3x.
Designed, developed, debugged and qualified the software written in C language that is embedded in the 80C196 processors.
Also, Designed and developed a software code that is embedded in the Gate Array Logic (GALs) used in the processor board.
Developed different hardware, software and sensor fail mechanisms.
The processing module has the capability to take different measures in case of multiple failures
INTELLIGENT POWER MANAGEMENT MODULE:
Thos module comprises of different Voltage Up Converters as well as Voltage Down Converters. It also comprises of Backup battery Packs which act as source to these Up and down Converters in case of input power failure. It also incorporates the auto battery charging mechanism at different rates.
Also, the module is intelligent enough to device different power management mechanism incase of power failure at the output of the power supply module.
ANALOG CONTROL CIRCUITS:
Worked on the development of DC motor control circuits to be used for different applications. The circuit takes the sensor input as feedback for the controller while generating commands for the motors depending on the feedback.
ANALOG ACTUATORS MECHANICAL DESIGN:
Also part of the team involved in the mechanical design, development, testing and qualification of Analog Actuators.
AIR SENSORS CONDITIONING MODULE:
Developed and qualified the mechanics and electronics of Air data Sensors based module.
SENSOR CONDITIONAING CIRCUITS:
Worked on different circuits, the function of the circuits is to pick a low level signal of the sensor, condition and amplify the signal which is then transmitted to the processing module for further processing.
Developed a Visual C based Graphics User Interface (GUI) for telemetry software to display different parameters coming in the telemetry.
Worked on a simulation environment that simulates different conditions and sensors. The simulation software is written in windows API.
PROJECTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT:
At the moment working on the designing and developing hardware/software of a processor unit comprising of a DSP, 80x186 and a Pic-16x micro controller.
Also, Part of the team that is developing hardware and software for the testers that will automatically tests these processing modules at PCB level, module level as well as at system Level.
PROPOSED PROJECTS UNDER CONSIDERATION:
Designing and development of a single processor based Tracking Antenna module Used to keep the track of slow moving Aerial Vehicles.
Designing and development of a wireless digital video communication link that should be able to resist intentional/ non-intentional Interference/ Jamming.
Designing and development of hardware, software and algorithms of a gyro stabilized tracking mount to be used for tracking of a slow moving object.
Designing and development of hardware and software of an intelligent microcontroller based Digital Sensor Conditioning Module having 24 Analog Channels, 8 Digital Input Signals, 8 Digital Output Signals and a 4 Serial Channels.
