Shoreside Operations

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an Electrical/Electronic Engineer (PhD, CEng) with an extensive background in R&D of sensors and product line life-cycle management of instrumentation/measurement systems and I am now looking for the next step in my career.

Over the past years I had active involvement in over 15 EU & 2 ESA large multinational EU projects by coordinating research projects. I also participated in writing up scientific/research project proposals (FP7, Horizon 2020 & ESA), in full or by contributing to others by contributing to segments and technical information. The industrial & research activities have enabled me to network with people from the broad spectrum of the EU aeronautic industries from materials & parts manufacturers to end users. In addition I have experience managing the development, life-cycle and production of existing and new commercial instrumentation & control products, planning and setting the vision along the customer/market needs and as always following the ISO 9001 standards. I also led R&D activities such as conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on sensors, designing electrical/electronic circuits, building novel LabVIEW/NI based measurement systems for scientific experiments (data acquisition, analysis, fault diagnosis, monitoring & control) & act as consultant on instrumentation needs.

I am available to start to work immediately and to travel as frequently as the position may require. I have attached a copy of my resume with additional information regarding my qualifications.  Please feel free to contact me on +30-6946876354 or alternatively at k*******g@gmail.com to discuss my skills further and perhaps arrange a telephone interview. Thank you for your consideration, I look forward hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Dr. George S. Katranas
