continue my Chief Engineer career, currently working in Brazil, and before Middle East, would like to work closer to home, in the States.
Experience
1978 worked with Great Dane Trailers, in maintenance dept. left there for more money in mid 1990 and joined SEAFARERS UNION,and got a Wipers JOB with Great Lakes Dredge,and now still with Great Lakes and upgraded to Chief Engineer.
Education
High School / technical collage (heating & air conditioning) took some survival courses with Paul Hall Maritime Center,Marine Fire Fighting (advanced)self study for US Coast Guard license.
Certification
Marine fire fighting / Life boat / Crane Operator WITH GREAT LAKES / HEATING & A/C / General Security Awareness-Maritime / Chief Engineer US Coast Guard / Republic of the Marshall Islands license
Skils
ship board maintenance, Hydraulic systems, Cat, Alco and Deutz engine repair, Gould Pumps, some electrical, Oily water separator, Evaporator (water maker)operation and repair.Generators operation and repair
