Objective


Dedicated, dependable, non-smoker, non-tatooted, and resourceful Boat Captain looking for a position aboard a yacht. I have 34 years experience working with boats and love being on the water. My hobbies include kite-boarding and I am a member of the Fort Lauderdale Outrigger Canoe Club. I have extensive experience as a boat captain as well as working on the systems of a yacht. I am willing to go for drug testing and am currently enrolled in the random drug testing program. I am a US citizen with a valid passport.

Explain and provide information on surroundings to include the local flora and fauna.

Collect ticket/receipt from passengers and provide information to passengers.

Confer with maritime officials through radio or direct telephone contact.

Maintain current charts, certificates, and licenses.

Set up charter operation

Supervised and worked with crew in refit and repair of defective vessel gear and equipment

Supervised crew in cleaning and maintaining decks, superstructure, and bridge.

Captained yacht around Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Bahamas and Caribbean.

Captained yacht around New England, piloted yacht from New England to Fort Lauderdale via Intracoastal Waterway

Assumed command of vessel when boat captain slept.
