-Report any mechanical or electrical problems to the rig foreman and coordinate with foreman and maintenance people to correct problems and avoid downtime.



-Maintain and operate the jacking system and ensure that equal leg load distribution is maintained at all times.



-Assist rig move master during rig moves, maintains proper ballast, operate jacking controls and monitor preloading operations and ensure that rig is stable and safe before rig operations commence



-Perform load calculations to ensure that the rig is maintained in a stable condition at all times and advise the rig foreman if a possible overload condition could occur.

-All communication with LNG carrier via E-mail prior to arrival and via VHF during operation.



-To utilize the OPTIMOOR program to apply mooring analysis study on all LNG Tanker visiting the port.



-Port representative in pre-loading meeting and safety meeting. (fill and singe check lists ).

-Singe security declaration as port facility security officer.



-Monitor the loading operation progress as per agreed loading plan and Port Regulations.



-To supervise and operate port facilities equipment systems such as:

o Gangway and crane.

o Emergency shutdown.( ESD/ESD ¦-PERC)

o Mooring hooks.

o Berthing Aid.

o Navigation Aid.

o Marine Environment monitoring.

o Jetty fire fighting system.

o Loading arms (connection and disconnection).

o Loading control panel.

o Gas testing.



-Close liaison with Port Operations Contractors.



-To ensure safe, reliable and efficient management of the port operations.



-Checks and observes on ongoing basis, in accordance with daily instructions, the proper functioning of assigned equipment and record findings on a log sheets, identifying the equipment, the activities and time and date of occurrence.



-Inform the Port Master and shift superintendent for any unusual observations, such as spillage, critical situation during LNG Tanker berthing, loading and un-berthing operations

-Check the presence and proper conditions of all safety and fire equipment at jetty area, verifying the ideal conditions and reporting the findings.



-Takes and records as required variety of readings such as mooring rope tension, approach system and LNG Tanker stability while loading.
