Maritime graduates and/or candidates with vessel and/or terminal experience are preferred.
Specific Qualifications Required:
- Located in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States
- Understanding of terminal operations
- Cargo superintendent experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities within a team framework
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Active in commodities that range from agricultural softs to fats & oils and molasses, we are called upon to protect the interests of clients that include international commodity trade houses, banks, producers and end-users in countries that reach from our core operations throughout the United States and Latin America to countries such as Thailand and the Philippines.
The Cargo Surveyor position is one that supervises vessel loadings and/or discharges of liquid or dry bulk products and inspects and samples physical commodities stored in warehouses. The surveyor is also required to complete summary reports and communicate with management on a timely basis. While a majority of the work will take place in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region, travel will also be required for the position (around 30%-40% of the year).
