Ocean Sailing Charters is a luxury tourism business, running a variety of 2 hour charters across our fleet of sailing catamarans.  The company is based in Knysna with cruises departing from Thesen Island.  Skippers will require an over 9m commercial sailing ticket to command our 55" and 40" catamarans.  This is no boring job, dealing with a variety of guests and ever-changing weather and ocean conditions always makes for an interesting day.  Ocean Sailing Charters is one of two licensed companies allowed to go through the Knysna Heads into the Indian Ocean beyond.  Guests love to experience the thrill of actually sailing, engines off, wind-powered motion, so sails up is expected.  Skippers and crew at Ocean Sailing Charters have the rare opportunity to live their passion, truly sailing on the ocean, while remaining close to home, which means invaluable time with friends and family.
