As 3 officer, 2 months were done on board of a Car Carrier. Started with a dry dock, where in 15 days I have learned a lot about maintenance on deck and also safety equipment's. Navigation skills upgraded with a new route at Dover Strait, Rotterdam Channels and Belgium Breakwaters. Different procedures and Maintenance skills obtained.
International crew, mainly Polish and Spanish. Different kind of cargo which upgraded my skill of stowing and controlling cargo on loading and unloading operations.

Got a different approach to vessel maintenance and papers while preparing the ship to a new route around Africa West Coast and Cape Verde.
Improved my skills as a Drills and Exercise supervisor, being responsible to give, coordinate and speak to the crew according to the Chief Mate’s Orders.

First embark as a 2 Officer. Started to getting more knowledge about cargo and safety.
Now as a supervisor of cadets, I started organizing the work in other ways and get some more managing skills with personnel.
As a chief of maneuvering operations I am still learning in order to be a team leader.

This last four month as cadet where more to consolidate and trust on my skills to be a real Officer.
Here I managed to have the freedom to do the paperwork, the safety maintenance and the cargo checking and supervising.
Also participated in several exercises, teaching and learning will all the crew.

At this second embark. I started to improve my skills and learning other things to be a pilot.
At first I started having the liberty and responsibility with the Port paper work.
Started doing maintenance of safety equipment’s, communication and Fire Fighting.
Also Improved the skills at the bow and stern maneuver’s while berthing and unberthing while
doing the trip between Pico and Flores (Azores) that have really small peers and bad weather conditions.

This was my first experience as a seafarer. Starting to do the voyage between Lisbon-Leixões-Azores.
This job aimed for giving me the first steps to be a Nautical Officer.
Here I learned at first, to get lookout skills and know to locate objects at sea.
