  • Minimum of 5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience
  • Completion of a Trade Certificate or an Apprenticeship Program
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD clearance
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekend work
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
  • Knowledge and experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic test equipment
  • Experience or expertise in technical areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player and highly self-motivated
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
  • Repairs and replaces broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains the operating condition on industrial production equipment and machinery.
  • Reassembles equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
  • Analyzes test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Observes and tests the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using volt meters, and other testing devices.
  • Installs, tests, repairs, and troubleshoots various CNC machines and controls.
  • Provides regular machinery/equipment status updates to the respective Product Line Supervisor’s and Product Family Manager’s on a monthly basis or as the status changes.
  • Evaluates and tests equipment efficiency and effectiveness and recommend changes for improvement.
  • Complies with all Department of the Navy, and Southwest Regional Maintenance Center work and safety rules and related industry regulations.
  • Maintains level of knowledge through formal training as new equipment and technology emerges.
  • Assesses and repairs CNC machinery, manually operated machines, and a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic controlled machines.
  • Assesses and repairs corrosion control Industrial plant equipment on blast enclosures, curing ovens, burn off ovens, powder coat and paint booths
  • Evaluates and analyzes the operational status of assigned machinery and equipment to ensure satisfactory, efficient, and safe operations.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides.
  • Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and installation of industrial equipment
  • Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Uses relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Observes receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Drives to pick up parts for industrial equipment or delivers small components.
  • Provides thorough maintenance reporting, documentation, and inventory of repair parts.
  • Implements new and follow existing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting programs for machinery and equipment to maintain maximum operational readiness.
