Objective
Hoping to get back to sea as soon as possible, get in the time for my third mate's test and take it from there.
Work Experience
Worked as deckhand in the oilfield (Gulf of Mexico). Did line and cargo handling, engine and generator maintenance, fuel and water transfer, chipping, painting, tire hanging, etc. Also worked with Seafarers International Union as AB. Stood navigation watch (helm and lookout), line and cargo handling, winch, A frame and crane operations, gangway watch, hose team and damage control and general deck maintenance.
Education
High school graduate, Parsippany Hills H.S., Parsippany, N.J.
Certification
AB limited, STCW Basic safety training, PSC/lifeboatman, RFPNW assessments. Have TWIC and valid passport.
Skills
Good helmsman/lookout, good with my hands, tools and machinery. Some welding/cutting, some carpentry, lots of masonry.
