	Objective To work as a efficient mechanical engineer in Shipbuilding/ship repair industry in design department.To design/verfiy outsourced designs and Piping drawings. To indent material for the machinery equipments and scrutinizing the offers of the same technically.To involve in practical problems/situations during the production process. Coordinating with shipyard regarding the Design/production issues. Work Experience Currently Working as a Design Engineer in Piping and Machinery Department Handling 3 Projects, 1 Diving Support Vessel, 3 no’s of Anchor Handling Tugs and 1no. of Pallet/Container Vessel. Prior to these projects, worked on 3 no’s of Tugs. Scope of work includes - Designing various Piping systems of the vessel taking into consideration customer needs and classification requirements. - Preparation of BOM for the Equipments and piping system Fittings. Estimation of Pipe Lengths required for various systems. - Preparation of Piping system Drawings, machinery foundation drawings, reviewing and indenting the Materials required for the system. This also includes indenting Major Equipments. - Selection of the Machinery equipments (major as well as minor) and scrutinizing the technical aspects of the same. - Coordinating with shipyard regarding technical aspects and yard query resolution by regular shipyard visits Education B.E. MECHANICAL WITH DISTINCTION FROM MUMBAI UNIVERSITY Certification Attended Beraau veritas Quality Internal Audit Training and attained Certificate of Passing.
