Objective
I am seeking a position of either QMED Junior Engr., Oiler or Tankerman Assist.
I studied in USA as a foreign student, at State University of New York - Maritime College, and earned a bachelor degree in Marine Engineering in 1984. Not being an USA citizen, I returned to my country, Cape Verde, where I worked in maritime field for more than 25 years in technical and management areas.
Besides my engineer background, I can speak read and write, fluently, 5 languages and I have good management knowledge in accounting, stock management and project coordination.
I recently immigrated to USA and since I am still not an US citizen, the USCG issued me a Merchant Mariner Credential with the endorsements as Junior Engineer and Tankerman Assistance.
Despite my education and experience I am a determine individual, whose willing to start from the lowest level and work my way up.

Graduated with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
