1) Function as tug captain.

Work Experience
1) Took command of various PSA Marine tugboats - Voith Schneider tractor, ASD Schottel and Aqua Master Propulsion from 300GRT, 3000BHP and 30 tonnes BP to 327 GRT, 5000 BHP and 60 tonnes BP. 1980 - 2005.
a) trainer on tug handling.

2) Tugmaster (Special duties) 2005 - 2007- seconded to office doing largely on training and safety.
3) Promoted to senior operation supervisor 2007 - 2008.
a) training - conducted class room training for the new tug captain.
b) conduct assesment on tug handling for the new tug captain.
c) assist the Mgr (tug operation) on the operational status of 32 PSA Marine tugboats.
d) qualified simulator trainer at S'pore Polytechnic, Maritime studies.

3)Promoted to senior tug master - 2008 till present.
a) training - conducted class room training for the new tug captain.
b) conduct assesment on tug handling for the new tug captain.
c) assist the Mgr (tug operation) on the operational status of 32 PSA Marine tugboats.
d) qualified simulator trainer at S'pore Polytechnic, Maritime studies.
e) crew recruitment.
f) crew discipline.
g) investigation of accident.
h) took deliveries of new buildings in China.

Education
GCE 'O' level
GCE 'A' level.

Certification
Port Limit Helsman Manning Licence. Licence to take command of tugboat up to 500 GRT.

Port Limit Engine Driver Class 2. Licence to work as CE for machineries up to 3000KW.
