My name is Rikard Friberg and I am currently working as first engineer onboard the M/V Super star libra of Star cruises Malaysia. I have been in Star cruises since January 2006 and before that as second engineer in various ships as stated in my CV, before I studied to become a marine engineer I worked as motorman from 1993-2001 on various ships such as tankers, passenger ships and ro-ro ships. I like it in Star cruises but I feel that it is now time to try something new, that is why I am sending this application.
My home address stated in the CV is in Sweden due to that I am employed on a international agreement with Star Cruises AB in Stockholm, but I am currently living in the Philippines with my wife and daughter. Later this year or next year we are planning to move back to Sweden.
I have not included my sea going time as motorman in the CV but I can send it to you later if you so wish.
