To obtain a management or captain’s position in the marine industry as to best utilize my thirty years plus experience as captain and management skills in a variety of positions throughout my career

Work Experience
I have had thirty plus years experience as captain of large vessels with many passages throughout the world that have logged me hundreds of thousands of miles. My responsibilities included administrative, accounting and management for up to 16 crew.2004- to present. President and owner of Riverbend Marine a boat and motor sales with a full service marine facility. I started this business in St. Augustine and boosted this business in just three years to five million in gross sales. The economy over the last two years has forced me to close my doors. 1974-2004
Captain of large yachts for charter and private use on vessels ranging from one hundred fifty feet to two hundred feet and eight hundred gross tons. Service included thirty plus Atlantic crossings, including many passages throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, US Eastern Seaboard, and Pacific Ocean from Panama to Alaska, North and South Pacific Oceans.

Captain of LST Virginia Clipper. (325 ft.) Assistant to the port engineer in the conversion of this vessel to a roll on roll off cargo vessel before taking the position as captain moving cargo to and from Miami and Venezuela.
