Work Experience
May 2006 - May 2009 I worked for APM Terminals Maersk as a Vessel Ops Manager. I was personally resposible for developing and executing all Stevedore operations for three vessel lines to maximize production and reduce cost. I provided leadership for labor, including lead union personnel to ensure daily ships sail abouve desired GMPH.
I am experienced in hiring and firing labor and experienced in stowing vessels to comply with all Haz-Mat, ballast, and ship/geographic specifics. Personally hold four records in Port Newark for Gross Moves Per Hour with zero lost time accidents. Proficient in terminal software including, Sparcs, Cops, and Excel. I am a highly motivated self starter who trained new employees and created SOP manuals for Marine Trainees.
