Job Description: ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS TO TEACH VARIOUS COAST GUARD APPROVED COURSES
SUNY Maritime College invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach various professional Coast Guard approved deck and engineering courses to cadets and maritime industry personnel. Courses may be taught at the college campus or at various companies/facilities where training programs have been established.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree
*Substantial sailing experience and hold unlimited tonnage/horsepower management level licenses (Chief Mate/Master or First Assistant/Chief Engineer)
Additional Information:
Candidates selected must provide copies of their resume and professional license, STCW Endorsement and any training certificates for approval as an instructor by the U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center.
Special Notes: FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
