- Job Description:
This position is considered a mid career level job, with potential for advancement. The Asst. Coordinator will work directly under the Academic Principal and be responsible for the course development team, instructor development, and act as a liaison between MPT and the various regulatory agencies. This is a full time position.
- Skill Requirements:
All applicants will need to possess a current STCW compliant management level license, preferably of Unlimited Tonnage. Additional certifications in DP, Tankerman, etc will be beneficial. Applicant will be required to have a Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum, preference given to academy graduates or holders of a Master’s Degree education level. Applicant will need to have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Programs and comfortable working with them. Prior experience in curriculum development and an understanding of STCW is required.
- Salary Range:
Salary shall be discussed with individual applicants, however the range will be
$65,000- $85,000 per year, with health insurance and additional benefits.
- Travel Requirements:
Applicants will need to reside in, or relocate to, South Florida. Domestic and international travel will be a component of this position however the majority of the work will be at our Ft Lauderdale campus. |
