PORT ENGINEER (Houston, TX)
Crowley is looking for a port engineer to oversee a DP-1 self-propelled jack-up construction platform that operates primarily in the Mexican side of the Gulf of Mexico.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a management position responsible for the repair, maintenance, modifications and operations of vessels, equipment and facilities assigned to a specific vessel, region or operating company. This includes the direction, interpretation and administration of customer contracts and company policies and procedures. Responsible for the daily vessel operations including Marine, DP and project operations. Also responsible for monitoring vessel maintenance, repair, spare parts and procurement status in the vessel computerized maintenance and purchasing program (NS5), identify deficiencies and report as required. This position is located in Houston, Texas, and will include frequent travel to Mexico.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or at least 10 years in a marine related engineering field required. USCG Licensed Engineer or international equivalent required. Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus. Minimum 5 years experience in marine engineering, with sailing as a USCG Licensed 1st Asst Engineer or higher.
