Manson Construction Co. is seeking candidates qualified to sail as Chief Engineer Diesel, Unlimited tonnage, Unlimited horsepower. The person selected for this position would sail aboard a seagoing hopper dredge and would be responsible for all onboard machinery, including repair, maintenance and operation. This includes propulsion machinery in the form of zee drives directly driven by diesel engines, generators supplying power for the ship’s service as well as dredging machinery and direct diesel driven dredging machinery. This is a permanent position and the rotation schedule is 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, (travel days are at full pay) with all transportation and travel expense furnished by the Company.
