The Job? On behalf of a number of exclusive flag state entities, the successful candidate will perform shipboard ISM, ISPS and MLC audits to a variety of different vessel types and in line with the requirements of the flag state and international convention.
Applicants should demonstrate considerable years of sea-going experience on large merchant vessels, preferably with a diverse experience of different vessel types. Recent experience working with ISM, ISPS is essential – knowledge of forthcoming MLC regulations is also desirable, preferably in a shipboard auditing capacity, ideally acting previously for flag state entities or recognised organisations such as an IACS-member class society.
You? An independent, self-employed operator, qualified as an external ISM, ISPS lead auditor and accredited by a major internationally recognised body. Skilled in vessel inspections, marine surveying, and shipboard auditing, you are looking to cooperate with a business who can offer a volume of work for a prestigious client-base on a “pay per survey” basis as and when required.
The successful candidate will not be subject to an employment contract but will be instead be remunerated following each assignment. |
