Starting with a handful of employees in a small warehouse in 1984, the Unitek Contracting Group today has over 150 highly skilled employees providing a proven and reliable single source for integrated services to property owners and facility managers. The Unitek Contracting Group provides specialty contracting services in Hazardous Material Abatement and Remediation, Mold Remediation, Flood and Fire Restoration, Maritime Insulation, Demolition, Thermal Insulation and Firestopping, Subbly Distribution, and Roll-Off Services. We know firsthand the importance of improving the quality, technology and diversity of our services to help make our communites safer for generations to come.
Perform SMAW, GMAW, TIG, MIG and other welding techniques in all positions of various metals and alloys. Must also be familiar with ABS & NAVSEA standards.
Qualifications:
Knowledge with shipboard/trade terminology & nomenclature. Hold welding certifications, current or expired.
Experience Required:
Must have at least 2 years of marine or industrial structural/welding experience. Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
