POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide Project Management and detailed technical leadership for projects during the bidding, designing, manufacturing, testing and start up phases. Provide technical expertise in reviewing customer specifications, identifying key and critical requirements, concepts, features and processes; and working with engineering and procurement to prepare both commercial and technical proposals. Assist in the development of the cost estimate and project schedule. Assist in the design, layout, review and interpretation of technical projects related to the purchase, manufacture, test and service of these systems. Identify and interpret applicable project requirements, regulations and standards and disseminate within organization. Plan, coordinate and monitor project scope, schedule and cost to insure systems are shipped on time, cost and on schedule. Conduct contract review to ensure compliance with all pertinent requirements for customer. Conducts project/commercial/technical kick-off meetings. Manages and implements all customer change orders and comments. Conduct project status meetings as required to review the project schedule and budget. Identify corrective actions and issue meeting meetings and actions. Serve as the focal point for all technical communication with the customer on assigned projects.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree (or equal experience) and at least 5 years relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Offshore Oil and Marine process systems; Applicable knowledge of technologies and applications; and experience in detailing customer technical specifications/ standards for meeting their requirements.
• AutoCAD 3D capability and use of Microsoft Office products. Project Management software a plus.
• Knowledge of marine/ offshore environment for material/ equipment selections of fluid systems, plumbing, electrical, instruments, pumps, piping and valves.
• Ability to work in a fast paced multitask environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work load independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
