Description:
Under limited supervision, the technician will diagnose and accurately repair GE/EMD engines and equipment as assigned, in accordance with published service directives. The incumbent will, perform service and repairs, write detailed descriptions of all repair operations, operate and maintain company equipment in accordance with CMSL policy, maintain adequate personal tooling to perform assigned tasks.
Requirements:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One of the following: two years technical training and two years experience, or three year apprenticeship, or four to five years of hands-on experience.
Other Physical Requirements:
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Protective Glasses, Protective Gloves, Protective Footwear)
