SUMMARY AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Regional Manager will be responsible for the overall quality and successful implementation of all service initiatives and key performance indicators within an assigned geographical area. Performance of these responsibilities shall be conducted in accordance with Radio Holland USA Management guidelines and in a manner that will ensure successful achievement of established goals and objectives.
The incumbent will provide supervision for direct reports and assigned staff members as required and interact with sales on a regular basis to maximize opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Territory profitability, operational cost and performance according to budget
* Ensure that service performance meets / exceeds Customer expectations
* Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
* Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with all Governmental legislation(s)
* Meet all global and locally supplied KPI’s and benchmarks in your territory
* Initiate local changes as necessary to meet Company’s objectives and goals in conjunction with Corporate Management
* Identify training needs of all staff in the territory and report same to National Service Manager
* Ensure compliance with ISO quality guidelines and procedures
TASKS:
* Represent the companies brand (mission, vision, values and strategy) in all matters of product and service delivery to our customers in your assigned territory
* Support and cooperate with other Regional Managers, Departments and Corporate Management to achieve company operational plan – support sales process
* Communicate with Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis
* Manage day to day operations of the assigned territory to achieve plan
* Supervise Service and Support Staff to achieve KPI’s and benchmarks
* Monitor and control territory inventory levels
* Provide guidance to the Depot Manager and Service Coordinator
* Ensure excellent customer service and care is provided in your territory
* Control and guard service productivity hours to meet company requirement
* Deal with personnel issues in your area
* Prepare Service related quotations for Customers
* Support delivery of installed products and Projects to exceed the customers expectation in your territory, cooperating with other territories and departments
* Monitor and resolve Customer service disputes pertaining to the territory
* Meet budgets for Service activities and territory overhead
* Monitors quality of technicians and identifies their needs for job training
* Conduct appraisal and assessment discussions with personnel
AUTHORITIES:
* Approvals in compliance with Company Signature Authority policy
* Settle disputed Service invoices by issuance of credits as necessary and in line with the Company Signature Authority policy
* Approve all Branch related expenses – report same to Corporate Management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years management experience in the Maritime industry
* Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop others
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Confident and energetic personality
* Excellent organizational skills
* Excellent customer relations skills
* Ability to manage a P&L center
