Secure Waters Security Group, a dynamic maritime security company, is looking for a Business Development Manager for South Florida to support strategic objectives by leading all marketing, business development and sales initiatives to identify and develop new accounts and maximize sales with existing accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess:
o 5 or more years of experience in the maritime security industry, understanding of the maritime environment and security requirements for regulated and non-regulated maritime facilities.
o Minimum of 2 years of related B2B sales experience.
o Track record of proven sales success in the South Florida market, must have contacts with local businesses, preferably port based businesses, “Hunting" skills and experience is a MUST.
o Able to self—manage and independently provide security solutions and recommendations to clients.
o Reliable transportation, able to travel up to 90% local.
o Must possess a basic understanding of MTSA and ISPS regulations.
o Effective leadership, sales management, networking and client relationship skills.
o Strong analytical, negotiating, organizational, and decision-making skills.
o A Bachelor’s degree.
o Computer skills.
o Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Prior Coast Guard, military, or law enforcement background is strongly preferred.
• Prior security-related experience in a multi-location environment is preferred.
