The ideal candidate will review specifications, proposals, drawings and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for ship repair and other marine related projects. The Estimator will apply knowledge of cost and pricing to produce final bid for management review. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, reference drawings, technical documents, government documents, and regulatory body regulations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft programs and the ability to succeed in a diverse team environment required, along with a working knowledge of all shipyard crafts, and the sequencing of activities necessary for effective ship repair. College degree in marine engineering or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in estimating field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.
