In the world of shipping, there are few iconic names. Our client is one such name. Their ability to partner with customers and develop & operate effective marine logistics solutions has allowed them to enjoy a position of market leadership in their chosen fields. Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
As a key part of the business development team, you will be involved in the early stages of conceptualising and developing project solutions. Your ability to understand the customers’ requirements and formulate cost effective solutions is paramount in securing long term contracts. Such capital projects could vary in size from $1 million to in excess of $200 million. Solutions devised will have a major impact on the performance of our business partners who operate in such areas as Research, Resupply, Border Protection, Mining, and Harbour Services.
It is imperative that you possess appropriate seafaring experience and qualifications. You will have practical shore experience in a maritime service company and ideally be skilled in project management. As a member of the business development team, your interpersonal skills must be of the highest order. You will also have a strong commercial focus and high levels of computer literacy.

The remuneration package reflects your contribution and the importance of the role. Major components include base salary, superannuation and bonus/incentive.
