Saudi Petroleum Inc., a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco located in New York City, has a requirement for a Scheduling/Chartering Specialist. This position is responsible for monitoring the process of crude lifting and tanker voyages to ensure company laydown commitments are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marine Transportation, Engineering or related field.
Master License holders are eligible for consideration.
12 years experience in oil planning and scheduling or marine transportation.
Specialization as a cargo scheduling, chartering, and/or marine specialist is required.
Must have experience in negotiating terms with barging and tug service vendors for lightering cargos entering US or withing US waters; troubleshooting marine operations, arranging vetting of lighterage companies and vessels; experience in charter party administration and dispute resolutions; and skills in contract administration necessary for lighterage, loss control storage and other martine services. |
