Service Engineer Electrical / Automation for Position in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai)
Position Type: Permanent
Position: Service Engineer Electrical / Automation
Reporting to : Manager – Automation
Our client is the Ship Power Supplier for builders, owners and operators of vessels and offshore installations.
Responsibilities:
- Team leader in electrical repairs, upgrading, maintenance and commissioning.
- Participate in negotiations with customers.
- Perform internal and external training to end users and Network Companies.
- Participate in technical discussions with Product Companies.
- Provide professional internal and external reports according to Company standards.
- Collect and organise time and expense reports. Instruct administrative personnel
as required.
- Ensure a professional level of project administration.
- Manage project teams.
- Promote Products and Services.
Knowledge and experience:
- Basic knowledge of different engine types and their auxiliaries.
- Excellent knowledge of control systems, governor systems, generators, low- and
medium voltage electric systems.
- Able to measure and analyze and solve product- and system related technical
problems.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant electrical- and electronic systems.
- Good knowledge of project management and budgeting.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7-10 years experience and high level of expertise in automation, electrical,
instrumentation work in marine industry.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals
- Good knowledge of the English language.
Remuneration shall be as per standard Company pay structure applicable for equal or
similar positions in the company. Successful Candidate would be prepared to relocate to Dubai with accommodation and vehicle will be included in the package.
