WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR AN OPERATIONS INTEGRITY MANAGER
IN OUR VALDEZ, ALASKA LOCATION
In this role you will work in a critical business segment, work among some of the most professional mariners in the industry and manage state-of-the-art equipment all while living in one of Alaska’s most picturesque communities on Prince William Sound.
You will have the opportunity to:
•Serve as a liaison between local marine operations and the safety department, external customers and the regulatory training group.
•Provide support to the Valdez regional operations team to further integrate and expand the use of the Valdez/Alyeska Loss Prevention System (inclusive of its tools, system capabilities and stewardship).
•Manage metrics and compile statistics to measure overall effectiveness of the program.
•Recommend and assist in the development of safety, environmental awareness and incentive programs.
•Provide oversight to the internal and external audit processes and procedures for the Valdez fleet.
Qualified candidates:
Minimum 7 years professional/managerial experience in marine operations and/or safety, health and environmental management. USCG senior licensed deck or engineering officer preferred.
Proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives, and the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Bachelor’s degree in nautical science or marine engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
